It is time to start (or continue?) the planning for the IEEE Student Fall Area Meeting at CSU Fresno on Oct 11, 2008.

I have some good news, several of our officers were around when we hosted the Spring area meeting a few years ago so our IEEE crew are familiar with what will be happening and are ready to make it a great one! More good news is we have reserved the same facility that we used to host the Paper, Design and MicroMouse contests and accommodated for lunch with plenty of tables and chairs at our last Spring Area Meeting. Facility wise, we're covered.

Our website is http://ieee.csufresno.edu and all of our officers' contact info can be found here on that site. We will work on an "Area Meeting Spring 2008" section. Hopefully we can get that up within a week or two.

We will be having an officer meeting this Sunday 8/24 to start getting this event together. CSU, Fresno's first day of school is Monday 8/25 so now is a good time to start planning. We have a few things in mind already, but you would be a great help to us if you could put together an action list of what is needed right away and what is needed in a few weeks from now.
